Temps cooled last night and all groomers were out. Mar 16, Feb 28, 9: While 2 hours south of Millinocket the forecast today is rain, we here in Millinocket and north are forecasted to get some light rain this evening and then it turns into snow with a forecast of inches, on top of our current base.
We groomed the following trails: We will report back in after we groom. Wild Kingdom Trail has three washouts — 2 are passable if you drive with caution; the third one should be avoided; there is a small trail to the side going around it.
Otherwise open daily from 7am to 9pm. Call if you have questions. The River Drivers Restaurant has a private event on Saturday so gas will still be available but very limited food service.

Groomer Notes Wild Kingdom has a washout that you need to go around, there is a trail that goes to the side of it; also there are some large puddles in town by the athletic fields.
There is a lot of snow on the ground in the Katahdin Region with pretty much all trails having good coverage, our base is still solid and intact from grooming.
The following trails were packed: Friday and Saturday, we will groom the entire system. We had some people stop in to the River Drivers restaurant who rode over from Greenville and from further north, they said the trails were generally very good.
Temps are falling to 27 tonight, 26 Thursday and 24 Friday night and we will be grooming so plan on visiting.
